NEPSE decreases by 2.85 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 2.85 points on Wednesday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2671.61 points.

However, the sensitive index has increased by 0.62 points and closed at 476.80 points.

A total of 1,63,066,472 shares of 215 companies have been bought and sold 75,265 times, resulting in a turnover of Rs 7.14 billion.

Trade group has declined by 163 points whereas hydropower has declined by 33.03 points.

The share price of non-life insurance group, life insurance, and investment group companies has also declined.

On the other hand, the banking group’s sub-index rose by 5.23 points, while hotel and tourism increased by 232.64 points.

While the development bank has increased by 40.52 points, the microfinance has increased by 107.44 points.
