No confidence motion filed against Bagmati’s CM withdrawn



KATHMANDU: A no confidence motion filed against Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh Dormani Poudel has been withdrawn.

A meeting of the Provincial Assembly of the Bagmati Pradesh held on Wednesday withdrew the no confidence motion filed against Poudel, informed lawmaker Arun Prasad Nepal.

Earlier, addressing the assembly, CM Poudel had answered the questions raised by the lawmakers.

Speaker had issued a ruling to withdraw the no confidence motion after Poudel addressed the assembly.

Meanwhile, lawmakers including Shalik Ram Jamarkattel had shouted slogans saying that they should be allowed to express their views in the meeting.
