Prachanda warns of defying SC’s “imposed decision”

Prachanda-Nepal faction calls SC meeting on Monday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction’s Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has warned that the Supreme Court’s “imposed decision” will not bear any good result and rather complicates the political turmoil.

After consultation with legal experts at Singha Durbar, Chairman Prachanda said that the Supreme Court’s verdict on NCP’s name dispute has come out more political than constitutional.

“We have noticed that the SC verdict is of political nature,” he said hinting at further response of the party, “We will discuss in detail in tomorrow’s Standing Committee and will come up with an official decision.”

Prachanda warned the party will not accept the decision guided by ill-motifs if any.

The faction has called its Standing Committee meeting at 11 am on Monday.
