Kathmandu Valley sees 55 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 55 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 43 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 4 in Bhaktapur, and 8 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 119 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,71,925 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 1,815 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 260 from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,68,072 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, three more persons succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,038.
