CAN selects 20 players for ACC U-19 Men’s Asia Cup Cricket Championship



KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has selected a 20-member team for ACC U-19 Men’s Asia Cup Cricket Championship.

The CAN has called the 20 players for closed training for the Championship said to be held in December. It has included the 20 players performing excellent in the U-19 National Men’s Cricket Championship that concluded on Sunday for the closed training.

The players would start training from Wednesday, according to CAN. The Asia Cup Cricket Championship is taking place from December 20-January 2 in the UAE.

Nepal, UAE, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Kuwait are participating in the championship.

Dev Khanal, Mohammad Hussain, Wasir Ahamed, Santosh Karki, Bibek Yadav, Bibek Rana Magar, Tilak Raj Bhandari, Sonu Ansari, Dipesh Kandel, Arjun Yadav, kamal Pariyar, Anuj Kumar Chunara, Prakash Jaisi, basanta karki, Arjun Saud, Sher Malla, Rahul Bhandari, Gulsan Jha, Bipin Shahi and Adil Ansari have been selected for closed training.
