KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 32.22 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.
With today’s increment, the index has reached 2546.08 points.
A total of 9.47 million shares of 227 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 4.54 billion.
Banking subgroup increased by 13 points, trade by 3.88 points, hotel, and tourism by 41.8 points, development bank by 157.13 points, hydropower by 82.53 points, finance by 57.87 points, non-life insurance by 26.09 points, manufacturing by 62.28 points, others by 31.52 points, microfinance by 65 points.
Similarly, Life insurance increased by 123.2 points, collective investment fund by 0.01 points, and investment by 0.68 points. Nabil Bank topped the list on Monday.
The bank had a turnover of Rs. 171.593 million. Similarly, the turnover of National Hydropower was Rs. 153.215 million.
According to Nepse, the share of Mero microfinance increased by 10 percent in today’s trading and hit a positive circuit. Similarly, Excel Development Bank earned 9.55 percent, Sahas Urja gained 8.17 percent, Mahuli Community Microfinance gained 7.69 percent and Bottlers Nepal Terai earned 7.37 percent.
Similarly, Janautthan Community Microfinance lost 6.88 percent, Nyadi Hydropower by 4.71 percent, Unilever Nepal by 2.65 percent, NMB Fifty by 1.96 percent, and Sabaiko microfinance investors lost 1.89 percent today.
