Nepal sees 265 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 265 new cases of coronavirus while 357 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 238 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 27 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 79 cases in Kathmandu, 10 in Bhaktapur and 23 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 112 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there was two coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,543 in the country. There are 6386 active cases of coronavirus in Nepal as of Monday.
