Men Volleyball: 16 plyers short-listed for AVC; final-list next week



KATHMANDU: Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA) has short-listed 16 players for the Asian Volleyball Championship (AVC) to be held in Bangladesh.

The AVC is being held in Bangladesh from December 21 to 29. The NVC has said it will announce the final team of 12 players the next week.

Four players – Jhaman Singh, Darji, Dil Bahadur Sunar, Bijaya Thapa and Durga Mahato – could not make it to the team of 16.

The 16-member team includes Im Bahadur Rana, Harihajur Thapa, Man Bahadur Shrestha, Dhan Bahadur Bhatta Chhetri, Rajendra Bista, Dhiraj Basnet, Tekraj Awasthi, Hari Bahadur Adhikari, Durga Bahadur Khadka, Bhairav ​​Bam, Deepak Raj Joshi, Bishal BK, Saran Samari Chhetri, Rabin Chand, Binod Chand and Ishwar Thapa.
