Province 2 CM Raut gets a vote of confidence



JANAKPURDHAM: Chief Minister of Province No. 2 Lal Babu Raut has got a vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly.

He took the vote of confidence as per the constitutional provision after the split of the Janata Samajbadi Party.

Raut got the vote of confidence with the support of other political parties except for the CPN-UML and the CPN-Democratic (Socialist).

CM Raut received 77 votes in the voting against 23 in the opposition.

In the 104-member state assembly, four lawmakers remained absent.
