Ramayan’s Ravan dies in Mumbai



MUMBAI: Actor Arvind Trivedi passed away in Mumbai last night, Indian media reported.

The 82-year-old veteran actor had been unwell for some time, according to India Today.

He became a household name with his performance as Ravan in Ramanand Sagar’s legendary mythological series, Ramayan.

Trivedi has acted in about 300 Hindi and Gujarati films.

He was also an MP from 1991 to 1996.
