Gagan holds meeting with Singh; does not attend meeting called by Sitaula

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa did not attend a meeting called by Krishna Prasad Sitaula on Wednesday.

Leaders close to Sitaula said even though Thapa was invited to the meeting, he did not attend.

Party’s former General Secretary Sitaula had called a meeting to discuss the expansion of the cabinet and the general convention with his close leaders.

It should be noted that candidates of the Singh-Thapa alliance have won in most of the municipalities including the Kathmandu metropolis.

The Sitaula-led faction has coordinated with the establishment faction in most places including Kathmandu.
