Lumbini Province govt bringing new budget today

UML to disrupt



KATHMANDU: A Provincial Assembly meeting of Lumbini Province is taking place today.

In the provincial assembly meeting, Minister for Economic Affairs and Cooperatives Krishna Dhwaj Khadka is submitting a new budget through the Replacement Bill.

The main opposition CPN-UML has said it will disrupt the meeting. The UML has been demanding that lawmakers Ajaya Shahi and Bimala Khatri be relieved of their posts.

Earlier, the government led by Shankar Pokharel had introduced a budget of Rs 40,959,700,000 for the fiscal year 021/022.
