NEPSE surges 161.94 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd has increased by 161.94 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2980.78 points.

A total of 17.92 million shares of 224 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 9.82 billion.

Shares of 42 companies increased by 10 percent today as shares of all groups surged today.

Arun Valley Hydropower recorded the highest in terms of turnover.
