KATHMANDU: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said he is in favor of party unity regardless of party Chairman KP Oli’s verbal abuses against him.

He said so at the Central Committee (CC) meeting of his faction’s convened at Buddhanagar Friday.

He was of the view that they were waging a struggle against the right wing ideology and it required moving forward unitedly. “No matter how much Oli abuses me, I strive for party unity and efforts to that end will continue,” he said.

He also allayed qualms of leaders close to him that Oli was probably deceiving them. “I want to work towards party unity by dismissing fears that Oli is trying to deceive us,” he said.
