Four lawmakers test positive for coronavirus



KATHMANDU: At least four lawmakers of the federal parliament have been infected with the coronavirus.

A special session of the Parliament has been scheduled for May 10.

Swabs of lawmakers and Secretariat staff were collected for the PCR test on Wednesday.

So far, lawmakers, including Laxman Lal Karna, Parbati Chaudhary, Naramaya Dhakal, and Rambabu Chaudhary have been confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

Swabs of 609 individuals, including lawmakers, were collected on Wednesday.
