Maoist Center writes to Parliament Secretariat to expel four of its lawmakers

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Center) has in a letter to the Federal Parliament Secretariat asked to expel four of its lawmakers from the parliament.

The party has asked the Secretariat to expel four lawmakers, including Energy Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Labor Minister Gauri Shankar Chaudhary, Urban Development Minister Prabhu Sah and Industry Minister Lekh Raj Bhatta from the parliament.

The party had earlier sought explanation from the four ministers for defecting to the CPN-UML.

The leaders, according to the party, failed to furnish satisfactory explanation within the stipulated time.
