Prachanda claims govt formation has not been sidelined

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the agenda of formation of new government has not been sidelined.

Speaking to the reporters in Nepalgunj on Tuesday, the Maoist Center Chair defied the allegation that his party had overlooked the agenda of government formation as it could not be a key-maker in it.

“We have already decided to replace the incumbent government by another one,” Prachanda said, adding, “However, the process is being discussed as it has to be worked out in collaboration with other political parties.”

Dahal added that his party was launching a campaign to re-strengthen the party.
