India’s COVID-19 cases cross 12.6 million

NEW DELHI: India recorded 96,557 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 12,684,477.

Currently, 788,855 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 11,730,045 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 165,500-mark.

With 445 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 165,577, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
