It’s party time: PM says welcoming Melamchi water in KTM

KATHMANDU: Welcoming the long awaited Melamchi water in Kathmandu Prime Minister KP Oli declared it is the time for celebration.

PM Oli scoffed at the Chairmen of Prachanda-Nepal faction of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal saying that they should not eat laddu whenever they get it.

Prachanda and Nepal had offered laddus to each other the day after the Supreme Court reinstated the parliament PM Oli had dissolved on December 20.

“This is really a great day,” PM Oli said in the special program organized to celebrate the occasion, “ Laddu should not be distributed for no occasion; this is the time for celebration.”
