Massive fire breaks out near NOC’s Dhangadhi oil depot

DHANGADHI: A huge fire has broken out in a furniture shop near Dhangadhi depot of Nepal Oil Corporation(NOC), sending the locals panicked.

According to Distric Police Office, Kailali, a fire broke out at around 12 pm at Alok Multi Concern Pvt. Ltd. on Dhangadhi-Attaria road section near the NOC’s main depot.

The locals were panicked lest the fire might spread up to the NOC depot lying about 10 meters away from the incident site.

The locals said that the fire engines of Godavari municipality and Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City reached the incident site only one hour after the fire broke out.

The details about the cause of fire and the damage it caused are yet to come.
