KATHMANDU: Taxi drivers in Kathmandu Valley protested on Saturday putting forth various demands.

They have demanded the government to stop vandalism and arson of public transport including taxis in the name of a strike and maintain ‘scientific’ fares among others.

There is also a demand to stop illegal activities that are hitting hard the sector.

A taxi was torched in Samakhusi on Thursday morning allegedly by strike enforcers.
