KATHMANDU: Bharatpur Metropolitan Mayor Renu Dahal and Sita Ram Kattel, the Chairman of Dhurmus Suntali Foundation jointly inaugurated the Star Cricket 2021, a tournament between the artists and the renowned players in the country on Saturday.
The one-day friendly match is meant to help raise funds for the construction of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium, a megaproject Dhurmus Suntali Foundation has been construction.
Mayor Dahal and ‘Dhurmus’ inaugurated the program by batting and bowling respectively.
Inaugurating the match, Mayor Dahal assured that the metropolis had been striving for its best to provide all possible assistance to complete the national glory project on time.
She requested all Nepalis here and abroad to help in the successful completion of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium.
