BRASILIA: Brazil registered 57,447 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 7,812,007 the Ministry of Health said.

Currently, 650,823 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals while 6,963,407 have returned home after treatment.

Meanwhile,  with new 1,186 fatalities, the country’s death toll from the virus has reached 197,777, according to Worldometers.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last Dcember, COVID-19 pandemic has killed 1,874,307 and infects 86,803,446 people until the filing of this news.
