Shukraraj Sharma elected NC President of Gandaki Province



POKHARA: Shukraraj Sharma has been elected as the president of the Nepali Congress Gandaki Province.

As per the counting of votes completed this morning, Sharma has been elected as the party President of the Gandaki Province.

Sharma, who is close to senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, defeated another presidential candidate Arjun Joshi.

Joshi is close to party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

A total of 1,146 votes were cast in Gandaki Province.
