RPP Gen Convention: Lingden continues to lead so far



KATHMANDU: Counting of votes for the ongoing General Convention of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is ongoing with party leader Rajendra Lingden taking a lead for the post of party Chairman.

RPP Presidential candidate Lingden has been taking his lead in the vote-counting, a party source said.

As of now, out of the 3,000 votes counted so far, Linden is leading with 1,371 votes against presidential candidate Kamal Thapa, who has got 1,254 votes.

According to the General Convention Election Committee, 339 votes have been invalid so far.
