 35-yr-old arrested on alleged murder charge



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man on the charge of murdering a person.

The arrested is 35-year-old Pradip Limbu of Taplejung, who was currently staying at Budhanilkantha municipality -8, Bhangal.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint police team from Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj and Metropolitan Police Sector, Budhanilkantha arrested Limbu.

Police have claimed that Limbu stabbed 30-year-old Rajan Khadka of Morang, Biratnagar, who was currently staying at Budhanilkantha municipality-8.

Critically injured Khadka died in the course of treatment at Chunnikhel-based Karuna Hospital.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking Limbu under control.
