Nepalgunj-bound Shree Airlines aircraft skids off runway at TIA



KATHMANDU: An aircraft of Shree Airlines has skidded on the runway at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Tuesday morning.

The airplane has veered off the runway when Nepalgunj-bound aircraft was about to take off this morning, informed General Manager of TIA Pratap Babu Tiwari.

One of wheels of the aircraft got stuck in the grassy land outside the runway and the  efforts are underway to remove the wheel.

According to Tiwari, a total of 80 people including the crew were on-board the aircraft.
