NEPSE decreases by 11.78 points today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 11.78 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2822.73 points.

A total of 10.06 million shares of 224 companies traded resulting in a turnover of Rs 4.58 billion.

Likewise, the Trade group increased by 132 points, manufacturing by 231 points and other groups by 8 points. As the prices of the giant market and the Salt Trading Company increased, the trading group increased on this day, while the prices of Himalayan Distillery and Nepal Lube Oil increased.

Similarly, the Banking group dropped by 7 points, hotel and tourism by 59 points, development banks by 102 points, hydropower by 53 points, finance by 57 points, non-life insurance by 156 points, microfinance by 34 points, and life insurance by 136 points.

On this day, the value of the giant market company has increased the most by 10 percent. Similarly, the price of the Himalayan distillery has increased by 8 percent. The price of Chyangdi Hydropower has increased by 7 percent. Similarly, the price of CEDB Hydropower rose by 5 percent.

The value of the Rashtriya Bima Company founder group has increased by 5 percent. The price of Gorkha Finance has dropped the most by 6 percent.

Similarly, the value of Karnali Development Bank has declined by 5 percent. Himalayan Distillery had the highest turnover of Rs 410 million on this day. The Upper Tamakoshi had a turnover of Rs 190 million and Nepal Bank had a turnover of Rs 150 million.
