Chinese President Xi to hold virtual meeting with top leaders including PM Oli on Tuesday



KATHMANDU:  Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to hold virtual discussions with  senior political leaders of Nepal including Prime Minister KP Oli on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party on Tuesday.

According to sources, Prime Minister Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba  and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will  participate in the virtual meeting to be held on Tuesday evening.

Similarly, Janata Samajbadi Party leaders Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, Upendra Yadav, Rastriya Prajatantra party Chairman Pashupati Shumsher Rana will also participate in the meeting.

Five minutes each will be allocated to the leaders to share their ideas.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has also sent invitation to the senior leaders of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives among many others in the zoom meeting to take place at around 6 PM on Tuesday evening.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, China has been holding discussions with leaders and heads of government of neighboring and its alliance.
