UML leader Nepal says cabinet reshuffle shows India influence on PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and recently expelled CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that that the recent cabinet reshuffle has shown the Indian influence on Prime Minister KP Oli.

Addressing to district leaders close to him at a virtual program on Saturday, leader Nepal said that the remarks of newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister Rajendra Mahato and the programs like the extraction of river products from Chure region to export to India clearly indicate the nexus between Prime Minister KP Oli and India.

“Right-wing forces in the country are excited by KP Oli’s thoughts and behavior although it might add crisis to the leftist forces in the coming days,” he said in the program, adding, “Our analysis of April has proved right after cabinet reshuffle; due to self-destructive and selfish activities of PM Oli, there is a crisis looming over democracy, constitution and the agendas established by the people’s struggle for many decades.”

Former Prime Minister Nepal remarked that India’s agenda are being established through Rajendra Mahato and PM Oli’s nexus.

He regarded newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister Mahato’s  ‘Multinationalism, as a plan to divide Nepal and escalate the ethnic conflict.”

Leader Nepal lambasted the government program relating to extraction of river products from Chure range as treason against the nation and the environment. He demanded it to be revoked.
