Civic leaders protest against genocide in Myanmar

KATHMANDU: A group of people including the civil society leaders protested in front of the Myanmar Embassy in Kathmandu against the genocide in Myanmar.

The protestors under civil society leaders including Dr. Govinda KC, Narayan Wagle and Khagendra Sangraula protested against the Myanmar government’s harsh treatment against the Myanmar people on Friday.

The demonstrators raised their three fingers representing freedom, equality and solidarity during the protests.

More than 50 people have lost their lives after the military coup de tat in Myanmar.
