Weakening party unity unacceptable: DPM Pokhrel

JANAKPURDHAM: Deputy Prime Minister and NCP leader Ishwor Pokhrel has said people would not forgive those who have played foul to weaken party unity.

Addressing a cadres’ meet here Tuesday, DPM Pokharel, reiterated that the activities that enfeeble party unity would not be acceptable.

DPM Pokhrel vowed, “Party unity is more important than life; I’m for party unity till last moment.” The people are not for party split, which he argued, would render the party and government stagnant.

On the occasion, standing committee member of the party, Raghubir Mahaseth, claimed that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli dissolved the House of Representatives for the country and people.

Similarly, Minister for Urban Development Prabhu Saha urged all to adopt right way by being responsible.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Leelanath Shrestha, also argued that PM Oli entered the country into a modern age.

Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen, Juli Kumari Mahato, urged everyone not to engage in rumour against the party.
