Time has come for patriotic citizens to unite: Manisha Koirala

KATHMANDU: Actress Manisha Koirala has said that it is high time that all patriotic citizens united for the sake of the country.

“We can live in self-respect and dignity only if every individual is united,” she said at a program organized on the occasion of the 299th Prithivi Jayanti and National Unity Day.

Actress Koirala also said this Day has its own significance as every Nepali, who loves the country, needs to come together, and be able to unite to give a common voice.

“We should understand that everyone loves their country. Nepalis love Nepal while Indians love India,” she said.

It should be recalled that Koirala was criticized by the Indian media for her tweet on the issue of Nepal-India border dispute.
