RPP Chair Thapa urges govt to protest against shooting in Kanchanpur border area

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa has expressed his concern over the incident in which a Nepali national was injured when the Indian Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB) opened fire at the Nepal-India border in Mahakali Municipality of Kanchanpur.

Commenting on the incident, RPP Chairman Thapa demanded Prime Minister KP Oli to take action against the people involved in the incident.

“I strongly condemn the incident of Indian security personnel firing on Nepali citizen Narendra Luhar at the Nepal India border at Dodhara Chandani area on Monday,” Thapa has tweeted mentioning @kpsharmaoli.

Narendra Luhar of Mahakali Municipality 1 was injured by a bullet fired by when Indian security personnel. The motive for the shooting is not clear yet.
