Nepal sees 238 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 238 new cases of coronavirus while 392 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 220 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 18 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 97 cases in Kathmandu, 10 in Bhaktapur and 51 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 158 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there was five coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,540 in the country.
