555 people including 249 disabled get relief materials in Jumla

JUMLA: Five hundred fifty-five people including 249 disabled as well as infected from coronavirus have got relief materials in the Jumla district.

Similarly, people from poor communities also got relief. The relief materials were distributed to such a number of people at Kanakasundari rural municipality and Chandannath municipality in order to ease their daily life.

Chairperson of Disabled Rehabilitation and Development Centre, Jumla, Nanda Raj Dhital, said that the relief materials that would be sufficient for six months were distributed to them.

INF Nepal, Jumla, with the support of CBM Nepal at coordination of the local government distributed the foodstuffs including 60 kg rice, 15 kg pulse, one kg salt in two phases, said project coordinator Thaluram Chaudhary.
Preparation has been made to distribute relief materials to those, who have lost income due to coronavirus and other people from poor communities in third phase.

Similarly, relief card has also been distributed to poor people of Kanakasundari rural municipality and Chandannath municipality. They would get relief materials on the basis of this card in the third phase.
