KATHMANDU: Two people have died in a tractor accident at Sikaicha in Sirijangha rural municipality-3 in Taplejung.
The deceased have been identified as Basanta Limbu, 25, and Samir Limbu, 15. Two others have sustained injuries in the accident.
The accident took place when an ill-fated tractor, Me 1 Ta 6893, heading to Bokhim from Sikaicha carrying wooden logs had fallen some 200 meters down the rough road, according to District Police Office, Taplejung.
Critically injured Amin Limbu and Sushan Limbu are undergoing treatment at Dharan Hospital, said police.
