TEHRATHUM: Nepali Congress (NC) Tehrathum has held conventions in all 43 wards, electing 1,686 office-bearers and regional representatives unopposed.
Of the six local units in the district, 888 candidates have been elected from four rural municipalities and 798 from two municipalities.
Out of them, 645 have been chosen as regional representatives and 43 ward chairpersons have been elected.
Rural, municipal, regional and district conventions will be held from those 688 people, said Assistant Election Officer of the district convention, Prakash Dhungana.
Regional representatives and ward chairpersons will participate in the district convention.
