PM Deuba, Prachanda and Nepal hold talks

Dwell on cabinet expansion, contemporary political issues

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda and CPN (Unified Socialist) have held talks on the cabinet expansion.

The meeting of the ruling coalition held at the Prime Minister’s residence on Friday evening focused on the expansion of the Council of Ministers, making the ruling coalition further effective and the contemporary issues of the cabinet.

“The meeting of the heavyweights of the ruling coalition dwelled on the cabinet expansion, making the coalition further effective among other contemporary political issues,” said Prachanda’s Press Coordinator of M Bishnu Sapkota.

Even though Deuba took the helm of the government on July 13, he has not been able to give the full shape to the cabinet.

There are two ministers and one state minister from the NC and two ministers from the Maoist Center in the cabinet.
