National Assembly endorses Data Bill, 2078



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly meeting today unanimously passed the ‘Data Bill, 2078’.

The bill was tabled for approval of the upper house by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki on behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

MPs from the main opposition, Khim Lal Bhattarai, Komal Oli, and Thagendra Prasad Puri took part in the discussion on the bill. Minister Karki responded to queries raised by lawmakers on the bill.
