PM Deuba, NC Vice President Nidhi hold talks at Baluwatar

Discuss integration issue

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi have held a meeting at Baluwatar on Tuesday evening.

Nidhi, during the meeting with Deuba, said that it is not lawful to reopen the integration file at the request of Ram Chandra Poudel’s faction.

Complaining that Poudel had not cooperated in holding the meeting to complete the remaining work of the integration, Nidhi said that the justification of the integration committee would be questioned if the decision was changed time and again.

Meanwhile, he expressed dissatisfaction over the membership probe committee’s intervention in the matter that resulted in the dispute over some districts including Baglung.

The relation between President Deuba and Nidhi had soured after the latter expressed his desire for the post of President in the 14th General Convention.
