Bodybuilder Singh becomes first Nepali to win gold medal in USA Natural Pro Qualifier Competition

KATHMANDU: A Nepali bodybuilder Utsav Singh has won the gold medal in USA Natural Pro Qualifier Competition in both open and novice categories in Men’s Physique and became the first Nepali ever to compete in this prestigious competition in the USA held on Saturday.

The competition is a drug-tested competition where the use of steroids is not allowed, hence is natural. Now Singh is to turn into a pro-athlete in the USA.

Singh, originally from Butwal, western Nepal, and living in Dallas, Texas, since five years, is also competing to be featured in USA’s one of the top fitness magazines “Muscle & Fitness” where he is in the top 5 positions.

He is also a gold medalist of NPC Capitol Grand Prix Competition held in Maryland state in the USA recently.
