Construction worker electrocuted



KATHMANDU: A construction worker has died after being electrocuted at Sidingwa Rural Municipality in Taplejung district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Pramod Kunwar of ward no. 2 of the rural municipality, said police.

Kunwar was a worker in local Suntalekhola micro hydropower project in the district. Kunwar accidentally touched an electric wire while inserting a plug into the socket at the construction site, said Inspector Kailash Kumar Adhikari.
