Friday Cabinet reshuffle: All but four incumbent ministers sacked

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli is reshuffling the cabinet by removing all but four ministers in the current cabinet.

According to sources, PM Oli has dismissed Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel, Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali and Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi along with all other members of his cabinet except four on Friday.

The source informed that four ministers Bishnu Prasad Poudel,  Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Lilanath Shrestha and Basanta Nembang will retain their ministerial portfolios in the cabinet.

The source claimed that former Minister Sher Bahadur Tamang is being sworn in at the Ministry of Health and Population whereas former Minister Raghubir Mahaseth is replacing Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali in the cabinet.

All newly appointed ministers including JSP’s team with Rajendra Mahato as Deputy Prime Minister will swear-in at 8 PM today.
