New ministers to be sworn in at 8 pm today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli is reshuffling the cabinet today.

The new ministers will be sworn in at 8 pm this evening.

With Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal’s entry into the cabinet, three ministers of the incumbent cabinet have become sans ministries.

According to sources, Minister for Women and Children Juli Kumari Mahato, Minister for Forest Prem Ale, and Minister for Land Management Dr. Shivamaya Tumbahamphe have lost their incumbent ministries after the cabinet reshuffle.

JSP has got the ministries of Urban Development, Energy, Drinking Water, Land Management, Labor, Youth and Sports, Women and Children, and Forest.

The Prime Minister currently has five of the eight ministries he has allocated for JSP leaders.

As per the new agreement, three ministers have lost their ministries. But PM Oli still has the ministries of Defense, Home, and Industry, Commerce and Supplies with him.
