Human Rights for Justice expresses solidarity with Myanmar people



KATHMANDU: An organization advocating for human rights, Human Rights for Justice, has called on Nepal government, political parties and various organizations in and outside the country to express solidarity with Myanmar people and condemn the brutal military suppression against ordinary people there.

Issuing a press note on Sunday, the Human Rights for Justice expressed solidarity with the people of Myanmar in their struggle for democracy and democratic principles.

It has appealed for the restoration of democratically elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi, putting a stop to violence against protesters, release of political prisoners, among others.
