PM Oli’s arrogance will end soon: UML Senior Leader Nepal

KATHMANDU: Senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that party Chairman KP Oli cannot oust him since his faction enjoys the majority in all party committees and the sister organizations.

Addressing the party’s Kathmandu District Committee announcement program Sunday, he added that Chairman Oli’s arrogant behavior will soon be over once he is ousted from the post.

Senior leader Nepal, who was suspended after he started parallel activities within the CPN-UML, said that their main party was the CPN-UML; hence, he has no plan to look for alternatives right now.

“We will look for alternatives if the law does not allow it or Chairman Oli captures the party, otherwise CPN-UML is our party,” he said.

Also a former Prime Minister, leader Nepal accused PM Oli of abusing the state mechanism to fulfil his petty interest.

He also said that all the leaders and cadres under him were protesting against the party president and added that Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam also would join hands with him in their fight against PM Oli.
