PM Oli’s Jhapa visit on Friday postponed



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli’s visit to Jhapa scheduled for Friday has been postponed.

Prime Minister Oli was scheduled to visit Jhapa, his home district, for the third time this year.

He was also scheduled to address a mass meeting organized by the Nepal Communist Party Nepal (NCP), Jhapa on the occasion of the 48th Sukhani Martyrs’ Day.

The program scheduled to be organized in Birtamod was postponed as Prime Minister Oli could not visit the district due to some other important chores.

Sources said since the House of Representatives is scheduled to be held on March 7, the Prime Minister would remain busy in holding discussions with various political parties, ministers, and leaders.
