CAN summons 32 players for closed camp for triangular series

KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Thursday invited 32 players for a closed camp for the triangular series with Oman and the USA under the ICC World Cup Cricket League-2.

The team called by CAN for closed training includes young players who gave a good performance in the recently-concluded Prime Minister’s Cup cricket.

All-rounder Bibek Yadav, Arjun Kumal, and Anuj Chunara are in the team’s training for the first time, while Prithu Baskota, Krishna Karki, Saurabh Khanal, Shahab Alam, and Ashif Sheikh have returned to the team.

The series between home team Oman, Nepal, and the USA will be held in March.
