185 round SLR bullets found in Morang



BIRATNAGAR: Police in Morang has recovered 185 rounds of bullets wrapped in black plastic and buried in a field in Urlabari-1 of the district.

According to Morang police, 7.62 mm bullet used in an SLR was found buried in the field near Dal Bahadur Limbu’s house in Urlabari-1, Laxmijhar.

Police claimed that Bhakta Bahadur Subedi, 53, found the bullets while digging his field.

The police speculate the bullet might have been planted by Maoist cadres during the decade-long conflict.
